Hello,

I'm an out of state investor and would like to connect with active investors in the Murray area of Kentucky, since we're looking to embark on a buy and hold investment.

What shall we be aware of? Stay away from?

Thank you!

Hi, I am a new investor and I currently live in Mayfield Kentucky and go to school at Murray. I would say the market is good being a college town. There are two subdivisions that unless you want your properties trashed to stay away from. The locals here call them Cambridge 1 and Cambridge 2. Also, the apartment complex that is right beside the Keg on Brinn Road is one to stay away from. The market I would say is very good behind the Science building as it does no get alot of noise, its right beside college for commuting and would be so much cheaper than the overpriced dorms. They are also decently built houses.

They are currently building another subdivision behind the walmart in Murray that would yield high returns if you were looking. I've grown up in the market around here so if you ever need any more information just reach out! I am also friends with real estate investors in Murray and surrounding cities and I have one of my bestfriends who owns 5 buy and holds in Murray who also works at the local bank.
