Higgs Boson Found (Particle that Explains Gravity)

Not sure how much people even care, and although this is like 2 weeks old, I thought I'd share with everyone! The guy who predicted this is probably going to get a Nobel Prize! This is an amazing discovery!

I'm personally wondering, since they (the scientists) understand better how gravity functions, if they will be able to find a way to "turn off" gravity. Like make hovering skateboards (like in Back to the Future) and anti-gravity rooms. Wouldn't that be amazing?!

Anyone else interested!?

Here's a nice video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL7G2DDehA4

No, I'm just playing. Interesting take on it, just curious, but what was your major? Computer Science? As you worked at EBay... I'm still hoping for some anti-gravity boots before I'm dead though. :) I love watching all these ideas from Kaku, Hawking, and others...

Started as a Physics major. Couldn't hack it, and switched to Electrical Engineering (EE). Graduated with a BSEE and lots of comp sci credits. Wasn't very good at engineering/hardware, so I went the software route and eventually into management (something I was actually good at).

In other words, I tried all the hard stuff, failed miserably, and ended up in management (those who can, do...those who can't, manage)... :)
