I just finished doing an interview with a reporter from one of the top national news magazines, and they were looking for some more sources to help complete their article.

If you are interested in getting some publicity, this is a great opportunity . . .

Here's what they are looking for:

I'm looking for folks who came to real estate investing after losing a job/taking a buyout during this past crisis. It can be someone who turned to investing as a stopgap or something they continued to do even after getting another job as supplemental income. Would like to hear about some of the ups/downs and the reasoning behind trying real estate. Need to chat with folks by Thursday morning.

If you think you fit the bill, leave a message below with some details and I'll put you guys in touch if it makes sense.

Hi Josh,

My story is similar to Mark's. Laid off from a General Contractor here in Michigan in 2010. No jobs around here in construction or development but at the time I had a decent nest egg of cash.

The reality was we could either blow through our savings in a couple of years and have nothing to show for it, or buy income producing properties and live off of cash-flow.

The challenge has been getting enough properties into production to support our fairly modest life-style while not draining the reserve account down to zero.
