Whiskey or Whisky fans?

I figured it would be a bit of fun to see what people enjoy when they select a whisky/whiskey.

Irish? I suggest Teeling Single Grain or Green Spot.

Scottish? I am partial to peat or smoke. Ardbeg Perpetuum or Balvenie Double Wood 17.

Blend? Monkey Shoulder all the way.

What would you choose for your next dram?

When based in London, UK  (early 70's) we had access to several great Irish Whiskeys at incredibly low duty free prices. Forgot the names but the Irish single malts were amazing. I nearly had a drinking problem.

In fact I remember 1929 Ports for about $1 a 6oz glass & French Champagne ran about $3.50 a bottle plus our dining room meals were basically free.
