I need help with a sales pitch
Ok team Bigger Pockets, I need your help! I have just signed myself up for the Make-A-Wish Trail Blaze Challenge and I need your help with the sales pitch I’m going to use to get donations. I was thinking about using the angle of charitable donations and tax deductions but I have NO idea about how to approach that. My primary audience in electrical contractors (I work for an electrical wholesale supply in San Diego county) but I would like to be able to give any business owner or individual an elevator pitch of how they can make a charitable donation benefit them. Obviously, the donations are tax deductible but is there a way to present this as a win/win scenario where the donation actually benefits the person or entity making the donation?
The Trailblaze Challenge is a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Our individual “goals” are to raise at least $2,500 by the end of May but I want to 10x that! If you can provide any input that might be able to help me raise more money, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Mike
