What Do You All Do About Health Insurance?
I’m curious as to what other investors that do it full time do about health insurance? Looking to focus on investing full time in the near future but leaving my full time job that currently covers my family and I to paying nearly $1700 a month for private health, dental, and vision simply doesn’t sound realistic in the beginning stages of focusing on real estate full time. Any advise would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

It is a cost of living. Literally. I pay about that under ACA only to cover the case of serious illness. It is insane.
It's not the greatest system when ACA costs more than my personal W-2 (which is 0) and taxable income (which is heavily tax advantaged) but that is how the system is. It clearly is not advantageous to self employed people with income discretion and way worse for people who focus on the balance sheet and not on the income statement. The answer is a bronze service with catastrophic coverage and dump dental and vision. Negotiate with dental service providers and as for medicare/Medicaid rates.
