Self Promotion Posts Being Removed

Hey, I understand the need for this rule and I am not trying to argue it's purpose but I have had a few posts removed for self promotion where the post topic was specifically asking for a service we can help with or provide. There was a post in my local real estate forum section that asked for a specialized contractor and other recommendations for contractors. Other posters provided contact information of their friends, when we mentioned we could help them, our post was removed for self promotion. Should there be some kind of exception to these kind of posts? My account can post ads in the market place already, I am a paid member here.
