Hoping to solicit some feedback
Hello everyone,
I’m in a retail sales/management job right now and my goal is to be full time working on my real estate investing business within 3 years. I have yet to make any moves in real estate other than read as many books as I can. I’ve learned how to sell and feel I could be successful as a full time real estate agent. Being an agent will allow me to support my family and learn more about the business. However, I have to get a loan for a primary residence later this year so switching to a 1099 position now doesn’t make sense. Once I get into my primary residence would it be feasible to switch to a full time agents position? Will I be able to acquire bank financing having only been in a 1099 position for less than 6 months? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dan
