3 Reasons Why I Think BP Rocks!

You may have noticed a slight drop in activity by me and if not, don't worry, I wouldn't notice me either

I've still been around, mostly lurking and commenting on the BP blog. I was making some rounds this morning commenting and I check 'another' forum that I won't mention but I notice that some of you are active there as well so you'd probably know what I'm talking about.

After replying to some of the posts there, I realized that there are people giving horrible advice and then shamelessly promoting their courses etc..... It makes me wonder WTH they're even doing investing. So I wanted to give 3 reasons why I still love BP:

1.No crappy promotions allowed
2.High activity
3.Actual great information given

Thats really what it comes down to! We don't have to put up with spammy links/promotions or DB's only looking to push cow dung.

The same post isn't on the first page of recent discussions/new posts for weeks at a time. This means to me that people are active and activity brings results. I'd rather hang out with others that are doing things.

If you give out crap@ss information, you're going to be eaten alive by the real deal keyboard nazi's that patrol this site. This is probably why some/most of the DB's on other forums are not active here at all. I for one am a keyboard nazi and will without hesitation publicly kick you in the shins for all of BP to see if you try to be a DB and I know I'm not the only one

That doesn't mean people can't discuss things, ask questions and interact/participate. We all do a great job at building this community and encourage participation, we just know a sleezball when we see one

So, that brings the question as to why I even randomly visit those 'other' sites?

I see what people are asking and talking about. If someone has a great question, chances are some members here might have the same question.

It gives me the chance to slowly steal membership away from those other crappy sites because when they connect with me there, I tell them to come here and never look back.

It gives me eyeballs on my site from when I post and they click on my signature(where they will see on my site in the navigation bar, a tab sending them here).

There is even a site/forum that won't let you post or put in your signature a link(even if it's your personal blog) if you sell a competing product. Now, I know it's 'This persons' right to do that, but hey, it's also my right to not even waste my time there. I mean, I know a good thing when I see one and I see a great thing here with BP!

Thats all for now, my humble opinion on why I still continue to love BP as I'm right around my 1 year mark here on BP.
