Listing agent broke pipe with sign

I have a property under contract and the listing agent broke the front yard pipe or something that has to do with plumbing with the for sale pole. During the inspection we took note because you can see wet soil and they tried covering with dirt. I asked my agent if this is something the listing agents company fixes with their money and she said yes I'm not liable for damages made by the agent. Has anybody had this happen to them?
