Hello Everyone,
I have a question about education. I have 14 months of Gi Bill benefits left after I graduated with a Bachelor of Communication degree. I plan to use these last 14 months to save up for another down payment and pursue something that will compliment my aspirations to buy and hold. I am a facilities manager with a modest ability in construction. I have a side business for property maintenance, which give me excellent skill for a multi-family unit. I also have two rentals in Denver, CO where I live. Here are a few options that I have considered:
1. Real estate License
2. Business degree in marketing, finance, project management
3.MBA
4. Something in construction for code compliance, foundation repair, woodwork.
I have a great career that allows me all the time I need to take care of my current rentals, so I do not need the further education to get a better job. I really want something that will coincide with buying and holding.
Any ideas?

@Joe Martino 1) I didn't know you could use a GI bill to get an RE license.
2) For me, I would seek an education (but probably not a degree) in marketing. I don't know where your marketing skills are but if you are going to be active in management and buying properties, knowing how to market is always a good thing. It's something that I never learned about until I got into RE. Now it's the source of my income. Wish I knew more. Not sure book learning would be the best way to learn as I think jumping in and doing is the best but it couldn't hurt.
3) MBAs are surprisingly common these days and it's lost much of it's once vaulted value.
4) Again not sure how the GI bill could ramp you up on this item.
I think you could learn more faster and cheaper if you applied yourself to whatever area you chose than going with our broken education system that teaches passing tests vs real world knowledge.
