A thought on David Carradine.....

In an effort to lighten the topics in here away from political discussion a bit, and to deal with a practice that appears to be getting popular I'd like to make an observation on the unfortunate demise of David Carradine.

I have come to the conclusion that, as a man (especially as a martial arts action star), it is your responsibility that if you participate in auto-erotic asphyxiation, you are required to make a suicide note....just in case. Something to the effect of, "No, honest. I wasn't playing with it. I was depressed! Really depressed about...uh...Darfur or the Tienamen Square anniversary or whatever."

It is entirely one thing for me to wonder if the deeply spiritual David Carradine may have been overcome with grief at some grave social injustice. It is another thing knowing Kwai Chang Caine died playing with little grasshopper.
