Best Cash Back Credit Cards

Hello BP.  I have searched this question, but only found something about 2 years old.  Was wondering what credit cards offer the best cash back rewards.  I know some offer 2%, but there is a catch, something about having to make the monthly payment at a certain time of the month.  I know some offer points that can be used to purchase items, but was more hoping to find one that does cash back.  Thanks.

It largely depends on your shopping/spending habits, but I like to use my credit card for almost everything and then pay the balance in full each month.  I've found that the Citi Double Cash card is great for that because you get 1% cash back for the purchase and then another 1% cash back for paying it off.  So basically 2% cash back on everything you buy.

I have other cards that offer higher cash back percentages (3-5%) in certain categories (i.e. grocery stores, gas stations, etc), but I found that I actually do better with 2% cash back across every category than the higher amount on just a few.
