Akron, Ohio Plane Crash

As a newbie from NYC I've been looking at investing not to far from the city (Albany, NY) but just out of curiosity wanted to see what else was out there. I kept hearing Akron come up and decided to do research. Unfortunely I came across this article today

I don't know if this is a sign or not but maybe I should just stick to my local area like originally planned. 

Also my thoughts and prays goes out to the families of this tragic accident :/
