I made $200 by selling someone their own pool table!

Ok, I want to preface that I DID NOT take the money, but this is funny.

We just bought a house we are going to fix and flip, the seller told me a few times that he was going to leave the pool table in the garage because he couldn't take it with him.  I said that's fine, we will take care of it.  I didn't put it in the contract or anything.  It's not the first pool table we've had to remove, no big deal.

He calls me today, he's all packed up and ready to leave town and he says "Hey man, if I give you $200 can I take the pool table with me?"... Now I never really considered having ownership of the pool table so this is a pretty funny question.  Of course I told him that he owns the pool table and he can do whatever he wanted with it.  I was just going to take care of it as a courtesy.

. . .  Now if I could just scale a business that sells people back their own things for a profit I'd really be onto something!
