Is anyone getting any value from their Bigger Pockets account? Be honest

I've been a member for nearly 6 months and I am now considering canceling my account.  I've posted several times as and have made some connections however, I am not getting much in respect to actual value towards my business.  I feel that a large portion of the content on the site is irrelevant to me and not posted by individuals with actual experience.

Anyone else have an opinion about there membership they would be willing to airing out "in public" both good or bad?

I am getting my money's worth. I am a pretty seasoned investor. I personally know many of hte nationally known guru types, and a lot of REIA club leaders around the country. So I dont have any trouble accessing investor info.

that being said, I still learn things every day that I log into BP.

More importantly than that, I keep growing my network of RE investors, and that is very powerful

Lets say that I am looking to buy a property to renovate, or I know of a note for sale in another city.  My network allows me to put deals like that together.    A big network will serve you better than most of what you can do personally.  We were all taught a lie when we were in school.  You are not rewarded for doing your own work, you are rewarded for learning (copy or modeling) the techniques of others, and for sharing in the work of others (networking).   You can do what you want, but I see no reason to bail on this site.  I would go the other way and try to engage more.

Feel free to connect with me (this goes for anyone)

    Josh
