Arrrgggh!!

I'm trying to update my anti-virus. AVG insists I update, yet makes it impossible to find a way to do it.

I finally found the free program update, downloaded it, and was told I could not install it because I have eido anti-spyware on my computer.

The Eido program has no way to un-install it, but it is an AVG program and assures me I can upgrade it into the newest anti-spyware program from AVG, which is now included in their anit-virus program.

You guessed it, The same program that I can't install because I have Eido on the computer, with no way to remove it.

Almost every link on the install program simply takes you to an ad to get you to buy the fee based program. All it makes me think is that I am not buyng software from any company that is so difficult to install and un-install their software, or to find your way around their website.

2 hours of messing around with it, and I still can't figure out how to get the program installed.
