The Corn Dog Lady

So last week a local wholesaler called me to come take a look at a home that he thought I might be interested in buying.  I showed up and met him along with the 2 older ladies who owned the home.  The home was vacant and they had already moved out of state.

I agreed to buy the home and close the following week.  The day of the closing was scheduled to close at 12 noon but I got a call from the guy I was dealing with on buying the home and he asked me if I had changed the locks already which I stated we did that morning.  He stated I needed to get up there quick to open it up as the lady was in town to close and needed to get in before she closed her side.

I thought she might have forgotten something but I also knew the home was vacant. We get to the home and when walking up she got out of her car and had a corn dog in each hand.  She basically told us she wanted to eat breakfast and lunch in the home one more time!!!!   I wish I was making this up!!! Anyone else have anything unusual happen like this?
