Old fuel oil tank inside fixer upper

Hey everyone! I am currently in the middle of my first fixer upper. We have chosen to go all electric as it’s a small house. There is an old fuel oil tank that’s half full in the basement. I’d like to build a smoker out of the tank. Anyone know the best way for me to dispose of the old oil. I’d imagine it’s still good and I’d rather not see it go to waste if someone can heat their house with it.
