Traveling to Indy 9/18-9/30 would love to meet people in the know
Hello fellow investors! With the goal of getting a couple rental properties, we'll be going to Indy towards the end of September and would love to meet other investors to chat and learn about the different neighborhoods and investing options. We have some rentals in Seattle in C class neighborhoods (Section 8 and the like) but would love to see if we can get something better in Indy that can get good cashflow + appreciation. Open to any nearby areas as well.
Any REIA meetings that are active? What do you recommend we do to get the most out of our trip?

How's it going Gustavo,
My partner and I work the chicago area and northwest Indiana area. We would be more than happy to introduce you to great areas to invest. You can also take a look at past houses we sold and rehab. We have our own rehab crew and property manager as well.
@Gustavo Munoz Castro I'm in Indy and it's been a great market for us. We have great teams in place and solid contacts. If you'd like to talk more about it - just let me know.
@Elbert D. would love to connect with you, Chicago is interesting too, would love to talk to someone that works both markets. Please PM me your contact info. How do Chicago and Indy compare?
@Ritch Bonisa, I'll check out your site, love that you have your contact info right on there. Do you folks do SFH or multis? What areas are the best in Indy?
Any REIA meetings or investor meetups you folks would recommend?

@Gustavo Munoz Castro We're into SFH & MFH, both flips and holds/rentals. PM me and I can give you the areas that we've focused on and worked in. Overall, its been a great market for us.
@Gustavo Munoz Castro well chicago and Indiana both have good flipping and rentals areas. So it just depends what you want. Indiana may be a better rental area as the laws in Indiana are landlord friendly and you can remove someone in 30 days or less. It's the opposite for Chicago. The taxes are also cheaper as well. But Chicago also has good rental areas as well. Both states are almost equal in terms of flips. As of now I'll give the slight edge to Chicago as there are many high end areas to do flips and the ROIs are very nice. It's common to see 25% profit. Indiana also has high end areas such as Munster, Scherville and certain parts of crown point as an example.
I'm in the know as far as where to eat.
