Rent Control as political tool

Curious as to who is paying attention to what the different candidates in the different races are saying about rent control.  It barely gets mentioned but if you look at specific candidates it is something to note.  Our properties are in Chicago, so for us it is an issue.  I know this isn't a political platform but this may be an issue for all Illinois investors, especially in Chicago.
