Becoming a private money lender

Kayla Petersen
Posted

My husband and I have recently been doing research about becoming private money lenders in real estate. We are interested in talking with someone who could give us some advice about how to get started. We are located in the Boise area. We look forward to your replies.

go to local meetups.. and REIA's this is were your borrowers congregate.

then go talk to an attorney have them prep your note for you.  the deed of trust or mortgage the title companies will do.

plus have the lawyer walk you through your default remedies in that state.

bottom line..

would you like to own the real estate your loaning on at the amount you loaned plus 20k..
