Tile or carpet in the bedrooms?
I'm doing renovations at my house. The main living areas and the office is hardwood, the other two bedrooms are carpet. I'll be upgrading the two bathrooms in the house, and undecided if I should put marble look tiles in the bedrooms. I plan on selling my house in a year or two and I'm trying to add the most value. Would having tile in the two bedrooms add more value to the house? or do majority of buyers prefer carpet in the bedrooms? The house is located in Jax, FL

I just ripped out 15 year old carpet in 2 bedrooms in my rental unit. I put in Luxury Vinyl Tile from Lowes. It cost me about $1200 for both rooms for the material. One bedroom is about 10x10 and the other about 10x12. Both have normal closets - nothing big. Its 100% water proof and very durable. Tile would cost more and carpet would get destroyed if its a rental unit. I think the LVT is the way to go.
