How can I find duplex properties?
Back in January I was given an opportunity to move to Jacksonville for work and arrived in town just in time to start work in March. Part of my plan in moving here was to buy a townhome, SFR or small multi-family property to live in that I could turn into a rental property at a later date. Since then, I have decided that I would like to focus on duplexes. The way homes are selling right now I would be surprised to see what I'm looking for on the MLS so my question then is: How can I find more duplexes? I've spent quite a bit of time driving around Jacksonville looking at different neighborhoods so I have been out there, but besides driving-for-dollars what other methods could I employee to locate the properties I'm looking for so I'm not just driving around hoping to find what I'm looking for?
