Contractor for Miami Beach
I am looking for recommendations for Contractors to Re-Model a Condo in a Miami Beach High Rise.
Also can someone give me ball park number (mostly on labor) on the costs the work below.
- Unit is 2 Bed/2 Bath, approx 1200 sq ft.
- Remove carpet and install medium cost white tile
- Remodel Kitchen (looking for Labor costs). I will buy the appliances.
- Remodel 1 bathroom.
- Paint the interiors.

Hmm 1200 sqft is a pretty big condo on the beach.
As I am currently doing a remodel myself I'll give you my take:
- Demolition and Disposal - 500 - 1500
- ripping and diposing out of old carpet
- ripping and disposing of old kitchen cabinets & fixtures
- ripping and disposing of old bathroom fixtures
- ripping and disposing of old baseboards
- Installing tile for 1320 sqft (1200 + 120) (10% for overage) - 5K
- (assume 4 per/sqft for install labor only)
- Kitchen Remodel (varies how many cabinets or if changing kitchen layout etc) - 4K in labor especially in upscale high rise
- Bathroom remodel (varies on layout and type of fixtures or changes to wetwork) - 2K in labo
Yeah so altogether you might see yourself spending 13K in labor not counting supplies, tile, fixtures, appliances, and cabinetry, countertops etc.
Hope that helps
Jason
