Connecticut Multifamily Investment

Posted

Hello everyone, new to bigger pockets and new investor! Me and my husband are trying to dip our toes into real estate investing by first house hacking. Finding a multifamily, living in one unit and renting out the others. Any suggestions on best locations currently to invest in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

Rose

Hi @Rosemary Olavarriawelcome! Step one would be defining your criteria. This is more complex given that you you'll be living in the property (ie. Something that meets your criteria from a pure investment perspective, may not meet your criteria for you personal residence, and vice versa.)

Are you currently living in CT? If so, you'll already know that there is a very wide range of markets and price points, even within a specific county. For example I live and practice as a real estate agent in Fairfield County, but invest outside (again, due to my criteria.)

If I can help you define your criteria, or even understand what questions you should be asking yourself, I'd love to connect! Please feel free to shoot me a message or give me a call anytime.

Regards,

Ryan
