Aspiring long term Real Estate investor in the Tampa Florida area

Matthew Truncale
Posted

Hello all,

I am currently a junior at the university of South Florida studying finance. I have been reading all types of real estate books and listening to multiple podcasts including BP and owning real estate for passive income is something I am very interested in. The hardest part for me,  and it’s why I don’t take action, is that buying a house will use all my savings. Can anyone offer advice for me or connect with me especially if you’re in the Tampa area, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you,

Matthew

@Matthew Truncale, I would recommend looking into house hacking a small multi (2-4 units) using an FHA loan for 3.5% down, house hacking a single family home with an in-law suite using 5% down conventional, or looking into a 203k loan and building equity in a property that way.
