Hello Bigger Pockets! I am grateful to be joining a community of real estate investors who want to see each other succeed.

I am in my first year of full time real estate. At the beginning of the year, I was overseeing the rehabilitation and flip of a single family residence in Los Angeles. My only other experience in real estate is as a landlord of a property that I purchased near a university.

A family friend introduced me to a more seasoned investor who put me onto buying pre-foreclosures "subject to" existing financing. This is what I am now pursuing full-time here in the Brooklyn area.

I have so much to learn about the industry and am appreciative of the advice that has been shared. I look forward to learning from the experiences of the people across the country using this site. I also hope to engage in discussions with people here in New York and specifically the Brooklyn area--there's so much to local insights!
