Starting Out Wholesaling

Jachob Almond
Posted

Good afternoon all, I'm leaving active duty Air Force hopefully soon and looking to connect with people and maybe go into business under someones wing. I'm in the DMV region and willing to travel through Virginia and Maryland. I would love to meet someone for coffee and talk, I will also be at some of the events in Hagerstown and Chantilly. See you guys out there!

@Jachob Almond interesting, it's not that way here in Oklahoma, but it might be there where you are (work with a realtor for a year).  You have to still work under a broker here (unless you get your own broker license).  I don't blame you for not wanting to tie yourself to an agent, but one benefit from doing it (if you find the right mentor)....is you have the possibility of learning exponentially more than you would on your own in the same amount of time.

The TAPS class is definitely going to help you find out what all you are eligible for, in the case of a medical separation, you will likely have even more benefits. Take advantage of them!  I am a veteran, and my husband is a veteran (27 years, started E2 now.. 05/Lt. Col), so please feel free to DM me if you need some resources. We have seen a lot, and we are more than happy to help out.
