Hello, my name is Matt. I've actually been following BP for a few years now but I'm hoping to go from "passive" to "active" member. In the last couple years I've bought my first investment property in a college town (owner occupied), managed the property...earned my MBA, and had two little boys. I'm hoping I have a little more time now to devote to investing and to devote to BP.

My goals, at the least.. build a large enough portfolio of buy and holds to assist in retirement. At the most...move full time into REI, managing real estate solutions and hopefully make some money along the way.

This is the best real estate investment site I've found. The blogs provide great information and I learn something new and get motivated from every podcast. Thank you to all the members who share their experiences and to Joshua for creating such a valuable resource.

Thank you much Dave and Mehran. Dave, the investment property is in downtown Madison. Takes some money to get down there, but it's rented every year. To college students, so it's a little different game, but I don't think there will ever be a vacancy there.
