New guy in Houston

Hello everyone, I found this site about a month ago and I have been sucked in. I spend any free time in the day on the App reading posts. Thank you to all the old timers for helping the FNG's out. Fear of the unknown is powerful and good information is hard to find. I have had 2 rentals in Florida for over 8 years now and I'm still amazed every month that the checks just keep coming. Now I live in Houston and have started looking for a few more. I'd like to do more SFH but I'm also into trying some small commercial something..... Yes vague, I know. Looking forward to meeting some other Houston area people. I'm usually free for lunch when I'm in town.

There are quite a few active real estate investment groups here in Houston, Rich Club is one that comes to mind. There is also a meet up tonight at BJ's in the Willowbrook area (NW).
