Hello BP community. My name is Dan Foster and reside I in Memphis, TN. I have a very brief history in real estate investing, although I have relocated for work several times over the last few years, so am familiar with the buying and selling of primary residences. I purchased my first rental property from Memphis Invest in December of 2012 and it has been a very positive experience thus far. I have not made any acquisitions since, but am interested in continuing to purchase rental properties locally. Thanks in advance for all of your support. Dan

Hey @Daniel Foster !

Great to see you on the BP site. I thought it would be a good idea to welcome you on the site and also to make sure you knew that now that you have a property and even though it was a passive investment, if you want to buy actively, don't hesitate to ask for my help. We have a lot of local investors who started purchasing with us on a turn-key basis and as they learned more about the market, began to buy their own properties. For some of them we handle the renovations and then mange the property too. For others we handle the renovation and then they sell the properties to retail owners. And still others we just manage the property. And then there are a lot of others who just prefer the passive investing.

Either way, just wanted you to know that its great to see you on here; I'm happy to hear that things continue to go well with your first purchase and that I would be happy to help you in any way I could and even introduce you to other local investors who have made their way to active investing here in the area.
