Noob from Redding, CA introduces self!

Hello BP forum! My name is Sean and as the title says, I'm a total noob. However, " a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" so here I am.

I worked in the IT field before my former boss mishandled some clients and all the work dried up. In this area, jobs are hard to come by so I've decided to go full bore into my dream of becoming financially independent.

I've read wholesaling homes is a low cost way to get started. That's where I', aiming to begin. I don't plan on remaining there forever though as I plan to parlay the income I hope to generate from that into bigger and better real estate things.

If any one has any leads on mentors or anything for my field or in my area would decided to go be massively appreciated.
