Hello BiggerPockets,

My legal first name is Don-Carlos, but I go by Don. I recently retired from the military, and now I am working as an agent with Keller Williams in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area of North Carolina. My first client just happened to be an individual looking for an investment opportunity, and we managed to find him a new-build condo to house hack. The process of hunting for and finding my client the right property has been both a challenge and a learning process. It has also reenergized my interest in real estate investing. I want to focus my activities as an agent on working with investors and building my own investment portfolio. Towards that end, I am working to educate myself, expand my network, a find my first investment. My personal education includes being an avid listener to the BP podcasts, analyzing properties on the market, reading real estate-related materials, and working on an MBA with a concentration in real estate. Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and photography. I am excited to be joining the BP community, and I look forward to participating in the discussions and learning from other members.
