Maintaining an Abundance Mindset in a Competitive Market!
Hello BiggerPockets community!
This post is a bit outside my comfort zone, however I've been following BP Books and Podcasts for years now and am confident this community is very welcoming! My name is Chris Harden, I'm a newbie Real Estate Investor currently operating in Las Vegas. I recently completed 180 hours of Realtors classes in Texas however the pandemic forced me to Nevada instead. Prior to establishing my company Buy Vegas Homes Daily, I buried my nose in books such as, "The Book on Rental Property Investing," "The Book on Managing Rental Properties," "Never Split the Difference," and "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor," just to name a handful. In addition to real estate, I am also a professional Skydiving Instructor with more than 9,000 skydives, so if anyone has ever wanted to jump, feel free to let me know!
Right now, I have been building a wholesaling business in Vegas, and I'm looking to make professional connections with people who have an abundance mindset in a highly competitive market. Long story short, I've assembled an Investor Prospectus, a report explaining market predictions for the area, as a method to help build my buyers list. The only thing is, auction action is limited, critics/competitors are snatching bandit signs and other traditional in person methods to network and build a buyers list are very restricted due to Coronavirus.
I haven't given up though! In the process of assembling the prospectus, I've sourced a list of very recent motivated leads, joined BP as a PRO member, and have analyzed over a dozen deals that "look good." I'm ready to take massive action, but I am learning real estate is not something you can do on your own!
I've attached a Google Drive link to my company's February 2021 Investor Prospectus, if there's anyone interested. It includes screenshots of some deals I analyzed using the BP calculator. Also, this is not meant to be an advertisement at all, just an introduction of my real estate journey. I'll also post and contribute to the BP Marketplace.
Thanks in Advance!
Chris
