Introduction to BiggerPockets

Posted

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

I am Orlando Layugan, a new real estate investor located in Hawaii. Currently reading and communicating with others while creating a plan to go into the BRRRR strategy.

1) How to Invest in Real Estate by Joshua Dorkin and Brandon Turner

2) Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner

3) Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat by David Greene (currently reading)

I plan to invest in Indianapolis, Indiana by the end of the year or sooner.

Looking for advice.

Thank you for your time. Excited to be here.

-Orlando

@Orlando Layugan

Welcome! Bigger Pockets has a wealth of knowledge. I am in Indianapolis and it is a solid investment market. Inventory is tight and you have to be patient and do due diligence. Indy can be tricky as it is a street by street and block by block area when it comes to good areas to invest in. Zip codes pretty much mean nothing in Indy.

Wish you the best of luck on your real estate investing journey. Feel free to message me if you would like to talk more about the Indy market.
