Hi all-

A little about me:

My name is Mike, from San Diego but currently live in Hermosa Beach, California. I work in Tech and have a great W2 job but want to really learn more about real estate investing to diversify my portfolio.

RE Interests:

My goal for the year (outside of actually purchasing a property) is to network and meet investors for potential partnership opportunities. I'm interested in buy & hold STR/LTR in and out of state, and would prefer property types that are SFH/Duplex/Multi-family. There are a few locations I'm interested in but haven't done enough research to make any informed decisions.

Anyway, enough about me, thank you for your time, and I look forward to connecting with many of you this year!

Welcome to BP, Mike! San Diego is one of the top appreciating markets in the nation. We're expected to see home prices appreciate nearly 9% this year and 8% in 2022. If you're looking to buy and hold your first investment, San Diego is one of the best markets to do this in. Although there is much talk about people leaving California, San Diego has recently been voted as the nation's top magnet city, attracting more and more high-earning millennial buyers who have the ability to work remotely. 

I work with many investors to identify both SFR and multifamily deals in the highest appreciating markets in San Diego. San Diego is at the center of several billion dollar development projects funded by both the military and biotech, which will continue to drive appreciation. Accessory dwelling units have also become an increasingly popular value-add strategy for many of my clients. I hope this helps! Happy to connect any time if you have any questions.
