Hey everyone. I’m a firefighter in Lexington that works for a local contractor on the side. Very new to the game still but I’m excited to learn more and find my first deal. I’d love to hear from other people in the area on how they got their first. Thanks!

@Jordan Brown welcome to the world of real estate investing. I got my first deal from a burnt out landlord in Lexington who needed some cash. Lexington is a very competitive market but great for long term real estate investing. I currently have 58 units here and would love to connect and help in anyway I can. If I were you I would try to leverage your skillset as a contractor to partner with other investors with capital. Reliable and honest contractors are very hard to find so I am sure you could find investors that would love to partner with you.
