Hi everyone, my name is Deadrick Colbert. My wife and I live in Easley, SC. I have a full time job. I am a member of the local CREIA club and have been reading and looking at real estate investing for several yrs. I have been to a real estate bootcamp and several webinars. I have also enjoyed reading the bigger pockets posts for quite some time, however this is my first post. I am now ready to take the plunge into what I hope is a very rewarding real estate investing career. My plan is to begin wholesaling and save up to begin flipping on my own, with the goal of obtaining some long term rentals. I have already done a search re wholesaling, but would appreciate any tips on the subject that anyone cares to offer, specifically on obtaining leads and also on locating private money.

Welcome Deadrick to BP!

I don't do flipping but there are some serious flippers on this site that can provide a wealth of information. I bought a book last month by J Scott called "The Book On Flipping Houses" There is so much guidance int here I feel you would be doing a disservice to yourself by not reading it. I highly suggest you get it! It's available in the BP Store.
