Hello BiggerPockets friends, 

My name is Alex Ghilea, I'm 27 and currently working on my masters degree in Athletics Administration from University of Oklahoma, which I will hopefully get in May 2021. I have a bachelors in Finance from OU as well, so Boomer Sooner! Fun fact about me: played college tennis for OU from 2013 to 2017. 

About 2 months ago, I got my hands on the "Rental Property Investing" book by Brandon Turner and I absolutely loved reading it. From that moment I also started listening to the BiggerPockets podcast on my way to work and school and I must say that the amount of information you guys are providing is amazing. I am a newbie when it comes to real estate investing, but I am eager to learn and also connect with people that are knowledgeable. 

I currently live in Moore, Ok. which is about 10 mins from Norman and 15 mins from OKC. In the next 1-2 years, I plan on moving to a place where I can start my real estate business. Until then, I am planning to educate myself about real estate, and to gather capital to be able to start my venture.
