I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Derek Morgen. I'm very happy to be here and looking forward to networking and trying to build a portfolio. I am looking to invest in the New Jersey area, and as I begin my real estate journey, I'm looking for a single or multi family home! I am beyond excited to be part of the community and hope to bring value to the BiggerPockets family! Welcome Derek!  No better time to began than "right now".  Spend some time thinking through what "success" looks like in your mind?   Are you a wholesaler...a flipper...a multi-family investor...a syndicator?  Also, where do you invest?  Pick 8-10 cities or a county.  No more, to start. Learn everything you can about that market then put yourself out there.  Meet all the realtors, wholesalers, contractors, attorneys, accountants, etc. who also focus on your target area. When you focus on your targets, it concentrates your efforts and helps you make the most of your valuable (and finite) time and resources.  Good luck!
