First Time Investor Looking For Some Guidance

Hello! My family has owned a few rental properties for about 6 years now. They paid all cash for each one (not sure if this is good or bad) but haven't moved on anything since 2017. I don't know if it was just a matter of losing sight of a bigger picture or just pure laziness but I want to change that. As it stands I'm pretty sure most of the money is tied up in those properties and I don't know where to go from here. I'm new to bigger pockets and would appreciate any advice that is offered.
