Hi, I am Peter from Hamburg in Germany and 59 years old.
My goal is to invest in real estate in the Orlando area. Over the last two years I try to figure out that will be the best for me to invest. In the beginning I thought a vacation home will a good choice, but I read a lot of negative thinks in German forum posts, most of them ending that this is like burning money. In the meantime I switched to house flipping with plan B renting it out. In this year I make a lot of bits on houses but never get one. I will try furthermore.
If you asking how I will do it from oversea, I only can tell that I come to Orlando as often as I can and drive around to get a feeling of the neighborhoods. By the way, to renovate a house is not complicated for me because my profession in Germany is to build new houses. Of course I have to learn about the difference between German and American houses. But I am not afraid about.
I am looking for young or experienced real estate agents to help me to find one or more houses to flip.
That is why I would like to invite everyone in the Orlando real estate business who likes to meet me. I am also looking for contractors, handymen, appraiser, home inspectors, real estate investors and houses flippers.
To get in touch with you I will be in Orlando from 22 nd April to 3 rd May. If someone is interested please send a mail. The first one must suggest a bar or restaurant there we get a good beer or something else. The place should be next to I-4 either downtown Orlando or in the area of the – Windsor Hills Resort -. We can arrange every day except of Friday, Saturday and Sunday because then I have to go with my family to the mouse. Please allow a slow response because of the time difference to Germany.

Welcome to BP! What types of properties are you looking for in Orlando? I have two condos right now, was actually just getting ready to put them on the MLS. They are low end, nothing special. We should still connect even if it's not something you're looking for, I come across stuff from time to time in Orlando.
