Hello all, I'm Lamar - a new investor looking to soak up knowledge and learn the real estate game from the good people of BiggerPockets.  Originally from Baltimore, MD, but living in Dubai, UAE at the moment.  

Aside from a rental property I own, I recently closed on my first deal - a fix and flip working with a partner stateside. I provided the initial cash and we worked with a hard money lender for the remainder, while he managed the renovations. 

I'm looking to step my investment game up both with my partnership and personally as I enjoy tax free living abroad. I've been doing some homework watching Brandon's videos and listening to the podcasts, as well as taking notes from other outlets. Have been watching the US market closely in these turbulent times as we look toward our next deal and refine processes.

My position is a bit unique in investing remotely, but I'm up to the challenge. Glad to be here and look forward to connecting and learning from all of you.
