Military - VA Home Loan

Hello BP Family,

I am new to the real estate game and had questions regarding the VA Home loan. The intent was to use the VA Home loan to purchase a multi-family property. Obviously, I would occupy one of the units and possibly move out after I met the 1 year occupancy guideline. What I was really interested in knowing is if it is a good investment for my first deal (multi-family property)? Also, any tips from your personal experience regarding the VA Home loan would be greatly appreciated. Currently living in the Clarksville/Nashville area but intending to move down to St. Pete/Tampa area within the next few months.

Regards,

Joseph Porter
