@Jeremy Hill Right. Makes sense. So, I’m going to be working in the Fort Devens area. I guess any areas between Boston/Devens to be more specific. I was also considering the New Hampshire area as well but that would be a longer commute to Devens.

Hello BP Family,

I am in the process of moving to the Boston area within the next couple months and need advise into which areas to invest in. Right now I am looking into Single Family or Multi-Family properties. Any insight you guys/gals can provide will be greatly appreciated!

Warm Regards,

@Luka Milicevic

Awesome, man. I’m actually heading to Nashville next week if that works for your schedule? Probably on Tuesday or Wednesday to give you an idea.

@Derek Buehler

I have considered purchasing a multi-family. I’ve analyzed a few multi-family properties in Clarksville but I feel like Nashville is exploding right now from all the stuff I have researched, so I am trying to stay in that area. I will most definitely use that as a resource! Thanks for info.

I am definitely looking to connect though, can I DM you my number? I should be in Nashville sometime next week to look at some properties and if you aren’t too busy would like to pick your brain.

@Angela Dulin

Good morning Angela,

I am in Clarksville but I would be willing to look in Nashville for a deal. I am intending on purchasing a condo in downtown Nashville using the VA home loan and after I've lived there for a year, rent it out. With the money I do have, I'd say I have about 50k that I am able to invest into a "project." I am hoping to net anywhere between a 10k-30k return.

Sorry for being dense, but what do you mean by “All in” for a project. Not exactly sure I understand that question.

Joseph

Hello BP Family,

I am new to the BiggerPockets Community and hoping to connect with other members in Middle TN over coffee/lunch (my treat). I am currently in Clarksville and am willing to travel to Nashville/Murfreesboro area to meet.

A little bit about me. I am an Army veteran that separated in January 2019 and then took a contracting job in Afghanistan from April 2019 and June 2020. Now, that I have some capital I am very adamant about getting into Real Estate Investing. I am looking into Single-Family and Multi-Family properties. Any knowledge I can attain will be priceless. I am always trying to learn so even a 5-10 conversation will be valuable. I am not looking for a hand-out but just an opportunity to pick your brain.

Warm Regards!

@Kenneth Garrett

Thanks, man. I will definitely read those!

I am trying to listen to as many podcasts as I can. At least one a day.

What other miscellaneous books are your favorite? If you don’t mind me asking.

Hello BP Family,

My name is Joseph and I am in the Middle TN area and I am new to Real Estate. So far I’ve read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and BiggerPockets’ How to Invest into Real Estate. What are your recommendations on other valuable books that will help me along this journey of Real Estate.

Warm Regards,

Joseph

Hello BP Family,

I am new to the real estate game and had questions regarding the VA Home loan. The intent was to use the VA Home loan to purchase a multi-family property. Obviously, I would occupy one of the units and possibly move out after I met the 1 year occupancy guideline. What I was really interested in knowing is if it is a good investment for my first deal (multi-family property)? Also, any tips from your personal experience regarding the VA Home loan would be greatly appreciated. Currently living in the Clarksville/Nashville area but intending to move down to St. Pete/Tampa area within the next few months.

Regards,

Joseph Porter
