Hello Everyone! I am a recent NYU graduate who in typical college grad fashion now wants to pursue interest in an industry outside the realm of my degree's expertise (Media & Education). While in quarantine, I found the BiggerPockets podcast and community, and have just started reading Brandon Turner's Book on Rental Property Investing - now, I'm hooked! Although I am planning to continue working within Education as well, it has become glaringly clear to me that rental property investing may be the best tool/skill around that can help me achieve financial freedom. And I can achieve it even faster if I start now!

I'm eager to learn, extremely critical and optimistic in nature, and have administrative/customer service skills that can be of service to anyone. Right now I'm in the baby stages of my real estate investing journey and am in need of some kind advice to guide me through the weeds. I'm excited to meet everyone here and look forward to connecting soon!

You've been bitten by the bug. Congratulations. Now just go through the podcasts and make sure you get your finances together so you'll be able to borrow money at the appropriate times. Until I found biggerpockets, the terms media and education were mutually exclusive. You probably could put that degree to work by working for BP. Joking aside, it's easier to invest while having a W2 job, so focus on that too while learning RE. Good luck.
