Hey Everyone,
My name is Gary. I'm 35 and new to this site. I actually ran across it researching a "guru" that ran an ad on the radio. Over the last couple of months I've attended a few of those seminars and have been reading books and articles about investing. I have always wanted to get into real estate investing but never knew where to start.
Over the summer I inherited a house that was in disrepair and a sum of cash. I decided now is the time. I have been doing all the work getting the house, 2 units, into rentable condition. I'm looking for fix and hold properties that will provide income but am also interested in fix and flip to provide capital. Recently I have been learning about the acquisition process. still trying to figure out which route will be the best for me.
I'm glad that this site is here. there seems to be a wealth of information. Thanks to everyone for contributing
