Welcome to the site, Donna. Do you happen to know how you're planning on getting started, or have you already gotten over the first deal hump? What's your plan?
Welcome to BP Donna! I am with Josh, I would love to hear more about prior experience (if any) and your real estate investing goals. I will tell you that you will learn a ton just by being active on this community.

Welcome to BiggerPockets Donna Coon! Glad to have ya!
Thanks for the welcome everybody. I have a mentor and a partner who has over 20 years experience in the industry. So he is helping me learn the ropes. Currently, I am focusing on potential probate deals locally. I have been to the government building, know how and what to look for in the probate department. I have also been focusing on building the business infrastructure. So far I have 2 RE Agents here in NC, and access to 2 additional RE's in AZ., 1 also in Cali. as well. The ones out of state are there should I find a property in their area later down the road. I have acquired 6 private money lenders for funding and started my first campaign about a week ago. I also have 2 local rehabbers that want to partner with me should something come my way as well as 2 RE attorneys for my closings. I am a member of one of the local REI Associations and plan on joining more later. Considering I started the middle of Nov. I am off to a good start now I just need to find some deals.
Welcome to BP Nation Donna! You have a great advantage over others with your mentor of 20 years in the biz to show you the ropes, that is huge.
Engage this community with your questions too, this is also your "virtual mentor"
Donna-
Wow! You sound really organized! Do you know Larry Goins in Lake Wylie, SC?
Welcome to BiggerPockets
hello all i am new to this place
Donna - welcome to BP! Great meeting you at the TREIA event in Raleigh last week. Sounds like you are building a solid team - good luck and let me know if I can help you in any way.
@Will Barnard having a mentor certainly has its advantages. My learning curve is huge that being said I still have lots to learn and a virtual mentor is a plus. Travis Daggett I am as organized as it appears. My mentor has me write my goals down monthly but I do take it a step further and write them down daily. Cross off what I have accomplished and whatever does not get done gets moved to the next day. I don't know Larry Goins but perhaps I should get to know him. Bill Worsley its so good to meet up with you here as well. I have already added you to my list of private money lenders list.
