Hello Everyone. My name is Greg and I am Manufacturing Project Engineer from New Richmond, WI (just outside of the St Paul/Minneapolis area). I have a goal to retire from 'Corporate America' at 55 (5 years from now), however my 401K disagrees with that plan. So I am looking to real estate investing to help support that goal. Have actually considered real estate investing for probably the last 10 years or so but have never had the 'guts' to pull the trigger. A few years ago I took a more serious look at this and start diligently researching....books, podcasts, forums, talking with those already investing, mentor coaching, etc. During that time I read Rich Dad/Poor Dad. Great book but that was a painful eye-opener for me. Excited to say that my wife and I closed on our first investment property back in early February. Duplex with tenants already placed. So far, so good. Now I have the 'bug' and looking to keep the ball rolling. Hoping this will help us reach our retirement goals and create a healthy legacy we can leave for our kids. Looking forward to utilizing all the resources that BP has to offer. Thanks Greg PS....yes, I need to get a profile picture loaded - I will update that as soon as I can.
